JUNIOR OF THE YEAR – ANDREA HOLM

The Gedda Cup is awarded to the junior sailor who achieved the best racing performance of the year, and this year the award is presented to KSSS sailor Andrea Holm for her achievements in the Kona One class during 2013. In June, she won the Junior Swedish Championship in Gothenburg, and in early August, she won the open Swedish Championship in Kona One. Andrea accomplished this feat despite being only 16 years old, finishing ahead of an all-male fleet in the Senior Swedish Championship results, including former world champions.
